A Year of Charlotte Mason Music Lessons

Learn Composer Study, Hymns, and Folk Songs. Two Year's Lessons Included!

A Year of Charlotte Mason Music Lessons online course provides you with a gentle way to do music in your homeschool, the Charlotte Mason way!

Two Year's Worth of Lessons are Now Included!

Each month, you'll focus on two things: Composer Study and either a Folk Song or a Hymn.

You'll actually listen to the same composer for three months in a row (one term) and hear a different piece each week so that your child can "study as far as possible under one master until they have received some of this teaching and know its style," as Charlotte Mason encouraged us to do.

You'll sing the same hymn or folk song for a full month.

So, that means three composers with twelve pieces/songs each, plus four hymns and five folk songs for the school year!

"I heard about you through the YouTube channel Homeschool On. I just want to say thank you for offering affordable homeschool music lessons. Music is lacking in our home and the budget is tight. This brings joy, answers prayers, and fills an educational gap. Thanks for all your work. (Also excited that you offere lessons on Shakespeare! I feel strongly that he needs to be included in our studies! That needs to happen.)

~B.S., homeschool mom

"My 10 year old son truly enjoyed learning about this folk song ["Shenandoah"] and actually playing on his recorder. One of the videos had a musician who was on the recorder and inspired him to do the same. We've gone back to the lesson multiple times upon his request. Win-win! :-) "

Course Curriculum

"This is great! Will you make a second one, with three new composers, for next year? :-)" [And, Gena did!]

~ A. T., homeschool mom

"This is so good! I moved to the States when I was 21, then at 30 I moved to Israel, and now we're Canada.

Even though I lived in the USA for almost 10 years and now homeschooling, I've been learning American history alongside my kids, I don't really know American folk songs.

I'm so thankful for this, Gena!! What a great course!"

~Ana Willis, homeschool mom and blogger at They Call Me Blessed

"This year's music study is so much better with your curriculum! Thanks!"
