How to Use Fine Art Pages as Art Appreciation
As homeschool moms or busy teachers, it can feel overwhelming to incorporate fine art into your day when there's already so much to do. What if there was a simple, inexpensive way to introduce your children to fine art without adding stress? Fine Art Pages offer the perfect solution!
Just print them out, place them in high-traffic spots like the bathroom, kitchen, or near beds, and let the art speak for itself. You can spark engagement by asking fun questions or offering small rewards for identifying the artist or title.
This low-pressure approach helps kids naturally connect with art while freeing you from micromanaging the process. Whether you swap them weekly or leave them up for months, these pages ensure your family or students build an impressive appreciation for famous works over time.
Simple, enriching, and effective!
Theodor Kittelsen’s Trolls and Fairy Tales Creative Writing Pack
Anytime is the perfect time to get creative with these fairy tale illustrations by Norwegian artist Theodor Kittelsen. With an array of trolls, goblins, magical bears, and other fanciful characters and adventures, my hope is that your children will naturally be inspired to tell their own tales.
Share these writing pages with your children so they can craft their stories using one or more of the enclosed illustrations. For pre-writers, let them tell you their story, and you be their scribe, writing down what they say. Later, your children may want to turn their stories into a play, or act it out with mini figures or dolls. Have fun with it! The more we can include joy in the process, the more encouraged they'll be to create.
Each piece of art is included with three different line styles so you can use what works best for your child. Each section also includes a blank page of lines that you can print as many times as needed for longer stories. Here’s a quick look at where you’ll find the units:
- Narrow Dotted Lines (perfect for print or manuscript)
- Wide Dotted Lines (perfect for cursive)
- Solid Lines (for all styles)
