More than one hundred videos are included in the 100 Delightful Classical Music Pieces mini-course so you and your students can listen to these wonderful musical pieces and songs of Western music tradition, from the years 1450 to the present era. A printable pack is included so students can critique and keep track of what they have listened to. Also included is a set of Composer/Musical Era Flashcards to go with each of the composers included in this course.
Gena Mayo is a homeschooling mom of 8 who has been teaching music in various forms for over 25 years. She has a Bachelors degree in Music Education and a Masters degree in Vocal Pedagogy (teaching voice lessons). It is her desire to help all homeschoolers include music in their homeschools.
"So far we are loving this. I use this as our lunchtime music appreciation for my young preschool/elementary kids. It is when they are still and able to listen well to the music that is playing. We do one piece a day and then if we want we can search for another to listen to by the same artist. I get to go over the composer and the style, point out key things that they are hearing. Plus the repetition of the same style of music for more than a couple of days helps them remember more of what they are learning. Works great as a springboard to do more in depth study as they get older."

"I wish I could have used your courses with our children as we did school at home. We are a music loving family and it would have been a gift to them to broaden their experiences with your lessons. However, the youngest of 6 is a freshman in college this year - off on his own musical adventures.
When I came across your courses, I invested in the first one as a resource to use with my piano students. I expect to continue to do that from time to time. I have enjoyed going through them for my own education and enjoyment.
Probably the most significant use is one I still anticipate. We will become grandparents this spring, and my thoughts have drifted toward what kinds of things I want to have available for the next generation. The simplicity of what you provide, the easy access to the music via the Internet, and the number of lessons you provide in a course all speak to my heart. Your musical choices take me outside the normal music I find on my own. It helps me explore with a little less investment of time."
