Lesson A: Christmas in Australia
Hey, it's me, Sam from My First Amazing Journey Around the World, and it's Christmas Break! Do you know what that means? No school! Okay, I still have this big writing project I have to do, and I had to promise my mom that I'd practice my math facts everyday, but still . . . it's a break from the norm. In fact, my uncle thought it'd be a great time to take a short trip to a few of our favorite destinations to see how different people around the world celebrate Christmas. Up first? Australia! We get to go back to the land down under!
Verse of the Week:
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
