Singing Made Easy ~ Level 4 can be used for a person of any age (ages 8 and up) who is interested in singing beautiful music. It is good to have more than one voice singing on each part since the music is somewhat complicated. At the end of the course when it is time to have a recital of all the pieces, invite other students or parents to join the graduates and sing along on the harmony parts.
The first song is “Annie,” and it appeals to those who have mastered singing the rounds in the earlier Singing Made Easy courses (levels 1-3). It can be sung in two or three parts with a “ground bass” or "ostinato" which is a line below the melody that continues to repeat throughout the song. On the audio, each part is sung separately on its own track for faster learning.
“Hungarian Round” is a very lovely song in a minor key. A real winner in this course is the Christmas song “Fum, Fum, Fum,” sung in Spanish.
Singing Made Easy ~ Level 4 has many challenges. “Johnny with the Bandy Legs” is a South African folk song with a melody and a descant (a higher part to be sung above the melody). One of the prettiest songs in this set is a round in three parts, “May the Lord Bless and Keep You.” The whole family or class can be involved and never tire of it.
Students can sing along with the voice tracks on the audios until they know the songs and then with the accompaniment tracks only. Each song has music sheets with chords; however, if you prefer to play with the music written out, use the included Singing Made Easy ~ Level 4 Piano Accompaniments.

Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Marcia McCarry, Professional Voice Teacher. Over the course of 45 years, I’ve offered private training to over 4,000 students of all ages, from the child in pre-school to retired mature adults.
Some years ago I realized that I needed to create my own teaching materials. My love for teaching wasn’t enough. After years of searching, I had never found just the right materials to use in my studio. I knew that if my students of all ages were to learn to sing well that I would need to write my own program for my students, and I did!
