Kathy is the the wife of a farmer’s son, a homeschooling mom to three girly wiggly worms, and an Okie inside and out. Between cooking for a few picky eaters, picking up stray toys, and teaching multiplication facts, she enjoys organizing closets, writing curriculum, and playing games with her family.
"Now that we’re a couple of months into [My First Amazing Journey Around the World], I’m excited to tell you more about the course. But before we jump into the details, let’s talk about why we’re using an e-course to teach elementary geography as a Charlotte Mason-inspired homeschool. . . .
Understanding physical maps and certain geography concepts are important life skills, for sure, but it’s equally important to know how those geography skills fit into today’s technology. That’s why teaching elementary geography online makes so much sense. . . .
My daughter . . . loves that she’s documenting her “travels” through her travel journal and passport. Both basically amount to notebooks, but they’re a creative way for her to write and draw her favorite points from the lessons."

Testimonial:
"We have used Gena’s music courses for 3-4 years. We love how she is able to put so much music in different ways out there for almost any family! We have completed 3 different courses with her, and still have a couple more to go. We are excited for the Elementary Music class this year. Even the preschooler has loved her classes!
We also took the Amazing Journey Around the World course last year for Geography. It includes lots of neat videos and it uses a great book list that you can dig deeper with or just learn a little more about the country!.
I would highly recommend Gena’s classes for all ages! They are awesome and worth the price!" ~ Kathleen H.
