How to use:
Welcome to MIOH+, the Music in Our Homeschool Plus membership experience for preschool through high school!
* You only need to do ONE 15-minute music lesson per week to make the membership worthwhile!
* Use your phone, tablet, computer, or smart TV. Yes--you CAN just use your phone!
* See the monthly calendar here for lessons to choose from.
What to Expect:
Each month at the beginning of the month new content will be added:
- The new Monthly Calendar of daily music lessons.
- The new Coupon Code for purchasing any courses not included in the membership for 25% off.
- Details about the month's Live Music Lesson.
See below all the fun content included in the membership. Also, click on the "My Courses" tab to find all the elementary courses you now have access to. (Each individual course has its own "How to Use" explanation for the unique features of that particular course. Most include printables there as well!)
Each Sunday afternoon (4pm CT), you'll receive a quick email with a "plan for the week" to help you implement music education from MIOH+ in the easiest way possible!

How do I know if I'm being successful with MIOH+?
What do I do if a link is broken or a video is no longer available?
Simply leave a comment right there at the lesson, and I'll get it fixed ASAP! Thank you for your help and for taking the extra time to let me know about them.
What to do if you are seeing inappropriate ads with the YouTube videos:
We are thankful for the "free" resource of YouTube, but we do occasionally have to let their ads run. If you are noticing that you are seeing some inappropriate ads, see this link that will give you ways to block advertisers. You might also need to clear your cookies/history. And be sure YouTube is set to restricted mode.
*Since every family is different in what you deem appropriate for your kids to watch or read, you may want to preview all videos and websites ahead of time. I did feel these were appropriate for my elementary-aged children.
What is the Copyright information?
All rights reserved. No portion of this course may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted outside the immediate household in any form or by any means—electronic, mechanical, photocopy, recording, scanning, or other—except for brief quotations in critical reviews or articles, without the prior written permission of the publisher.
How many copies can I make?
Photocopies of lessons and notebooking pages may be made for only one household or classroom of children.
(A great company to get inexpensive printing is The Homeschool Printing Company.)
Can I use a course to teach at a school or co-op?
Purchase of a course or membership is only for one classroom at a school or one family in a household. To obtain a license to use in multiple classes at school or a homeschool co-op, contact Gena Mayo at [email protected].
Refer a Friend Program:
I'm excited to share that Music in Our Homeschool now has a referral program! How to change/add credit card:
You may change or add a credit card in your profile tab (look for a little person's head or your photo). The Add/Change Credit Card page will list the credit cards associated with your student enrollments on schools. Click "Music in Our Homeschool" so you can change or add the credit card there.
Is there a way to pause my membership for a while?
The platform I use to host the membership and courses (Teachable) doesn't have a pause feature. The only option is to cancel and then rejoin at a later date. Two things to consider: you can only rejoin when the membership is "open" (get on the waitlist to know when that will be) and you'll have to rejoin at the new price.
How to cancel the membership:
(**It may be easier to cancel using a computer rather than your phone.)
You may cancel your subscription in your profile tab (look for a little person's head or your photo). The Manage Subscriptions page will list the number of active subscriptions you have in the school (e.g. pricing plans and monthly subscriptions). If you have an active subscription, you'll see the Course Name, the Recurring Price, the Time of Enrollment, and a Cancel button.
If you cancel your subscription, it will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle and you will be automatically un-enrolled in the membership and all courses that are included.
However, if you have enrolled/purchased any course outside of the membership, you will NOT lose access to those. You will have access to any course you purchased.
When you cancel, I'll email you with an exit survey and would love any feedback on how to improve the membership!

I welcome any comments or suggestions you may have to improve this membership or ideas for future courses. Just "comment" on any lesson and I'll get it. I don't always publish the comments; I have to approve them first. But, I do read them all and take action if required. Please take a moment to leave a comment any time you find a broken link. I would like to fix those immediately!
